I am sure social pressure and loyalties have influenced my decision some, but mostly it is a hope for something bigger than this life and a greater power that has influenced me. Also, creative logic and the desire for limitless possibilities has turned my head from science.

I am a Christian and i find that my religion is very important to me. I do not feel that it is wishful thinking, however i do feel that i cannot rule that possibility out entirely. I feel more secure when i know that i have someone who i can always talk to. Someone who is always their, that i know will not turn their back on me. However, isn't that one comfort many people look for in life. I most certainly do not feel that i have been pressured into being a Christian, but yet again that can not be entirely eliminated as a reason. If i had not been raised as a religious person by my mother, and if she didn't have me go to church i would not have the knowledge of the importance of religion. As i grow i go to church because my religion has become highly influential on my life. I am very passionate and loyal to my God. He has been there when i needed someone the most and though this may sound like a fairy tale and very sac-religious, i believe that i have been touched by the hand of God, and saved due to his love.

I am a born again Christian because I had a spiritual experience. It was private, internal and real. It included me and Jesus. Others guided me through Bible passages and shared their own conversion experiences but being a Christian only happens in your own heart. No one can force it on you or pressure you into it. You must believe on your own. It was a joyful experience that I value and I believe because I felt the truth of the experience. When I pray I have no doubts I am heard. But I am not sure if that answers your question because true faith and being religious are different. Someone can be religious and not be a true Christian. It is the influence of people like this that give true Christians an underserved reputation. People who are religious but without Christ can be forceful and lack truth and it is noticed.

I'm not religious I am spirtual. I can't stand the word religious. Something about it just doesn't rub me right. Anywho, I'm spiritual because that is the path I took. I didn't do it for anyone or for show. My faith has nothing to do with what someone else thinks or sees. Hope that helped.

We are religious because we sense that this world is not all there is. And in fact many of us after having faith in God have been shown miracles and have had countless answers to prayer. In short, we have faith because of God first, and everything else 2nd.

Because in my heart I know it's the way I should be. I've tried living my life without God in it..it was terrible. I never want to go back to that point in my life.

I am religious because it is the fulfillment of my nature. It is my nature to want to be devoted to God, whom I believe in through what may be called intuition.

Sometimes I do believe in my religion and sometimes i don't. the fact is I'm open to anything that might or might not exist because no one truly knows what it might be.
