Some people are only attracted to people who are 'broken'......and then they spend their lives putting them back together. Usually these are people who are broken themselves but instead of trying to 'fix' themselves, they occupy their time fixing others. If this sounds like you, then that is what she meant.

...you must have an engineering or MIT degree or something dude for her to say that stuff about you really. Most engineers are always a work in project otherwise...aren't we? LOL!!! Lighten up everybody...I've met allot of female engineering projects too!

Perhaps you aren't being objective. Do you try to "fix" or change those you date? Do you try to make them different somehow than they were when you met them? If so, then that's what she meant by "project"

Of course it does. maybe she feels like yiu just need to do something...and at the moment you are intent on fixing her or just being with her because you need something to do.
