guy problems???

Question

ok...i really like this guy. he's a sophmore and i'm a freshman in high school. he's really shy, and i'm really shy. i know he has noticed me, but i just dont know what to do to get him to talk to me. i dont know what to do to get myself to talk to him either. what do i say to him? if we start talking what if he doesn't say much? i need help...so please help...thanks...

*Well I am a really outspoken person, so sorry if my advice is a little "forward". Anyways I say GO FOR IT(not sexually of course)....and find out what he is into etc. and then casually say hi to him and if a certain band he likes is coming to town bring them up, and there you go....you have a conversation starter!?
~~Or you can keep being shy and not persue him, and never know what could have been, if anything between you two. I mean really there is nothing like stating the obvious...if you don't ask you'll never know...so ya if you two keep being "stand offish" towards each other and not attempting to make a move, then you will get nowhere.
***SO I know it's scary to approach the boy, but he's just as "scared" of you as you are of him...so to speak.

.p.s. find out what movies he likes, bands...and maybe go to a concert together, or a movie and then afterwards you two will have tons to talk about what you liked and disliked about either of the two. ~~~ :):):):)

I would just start with a few simple hello's in the hallway.
Then, maybe start complimenting his shirt or something.
Do you have any classes together? If so, ask him if he knows the answer to something . If he helps you, take it from there.
A little bit of conversation can go a long way, when you are trying to break the ice. Then, once the ice is broken, you will find yourself having an easier time initiating conversation with him. If it doesn't turn out to be love, at least you might make a new friend.

You should talk to him. If you have any classes together talk about that. Or you can talk about some weird teacher. Also you can talk about music or whatever you interested in. When you see him say Hi. Then go so wasn't (some teacher) so weird today. I can't believe she said that. Or you can be like today was so boring it was unbelievable. Though it was funny when (something funny that happened). First just talk to him like a friend for maybe the first 15 conversations. Those you can talk about interests and jokes and whats happening. First, 83% of men find confidence the seixest aspect of women. You hafta be confident and know exactly what you want. If he asks if you wanna go out with him, say yes immediatly. That way he will know you are completly interested. But first, find out what interest him. Research all you can and talk to him about that. Impress him with all your knowledge. Then, dont wait for boys. You CAN ask him out. Most girls do not wanna do that though. (its that confidence thing again). If he doesnt talk back, say something like "are you okay. I think that your a very interesting person. Lets talk"

Since you both are shy, one of you has to "take the lead" and open up the lines of conversation. I bet you both will be glad when that happens. You like him, so find out what he likes, i.e., music, books, movies and strike up a conversation with him. If he is shy and you already know this, then you will not be upset when he doesn't say much. Or, you may find that when he is with you, he will open up and talk about anything and everything and that is good. Good luck!

It is normal to be nervous. Smile and say hello. Ask him his name if you do not know it. Tell him yours. Ask him what he likes to do for fun, his hobbies, etc...

You can ask him about his family. You will find out about him that way. If he talks about them in a good way, he is a good guy. He bad mouths them, he may have good reasons, but he may be a negative person and you may just want to be friends with him.

Just start out talking about things that are interesting to you. It is ok not to share the same interests. He may like the same music as you or the same food, the same restaurant. How many siblings does he have? etc... Think of it as gaining a new friend with a possibility of further down the road. Be safe and have fun.

Just be friendly. It's not hard to embarass yourself if you just go up and say "Hi." If you start talking about something on TV or in the news that you're interested in, there's a chance he might pick up on the topic and you guys might hit it off. Really, just try to talk to him. You'll only regret it! A ton of people regret not talking to someone in high school, who knows, you could fall in love ;)

Or, if you know a clown have him/her show you how to make a baloon animal with a message inside and just pass him the dog and tell him theres a note inside. this sounds alot like me and my boyfriend.. We were both shy so I asked for his aim and myspace. We started talking alot on that and then progressed to phone and now we've been going out for 6 months! So thats how I would go about it. Im sure he's not as shy once he gets to know someone. Well, u can approach him by looking over at him in a flirty way. If he doesnt already kno ur name then u probably want to go up to him and tell him ur name and about u. If there is like a dance or sumthin or u and ur friends r goin to a party or to the mivies, u can invite him. U hav to get out of ur shyness to do this tho. Onc u guys go sumwhere, he will eventually ask u out, if he likes u.
