That depends on how many kids decide to join up voluntarily. If there aren't enough volunteers, it's obvious they'd have to bring the draft back.

I doubt it very much. First of all, Congress would have to approve it and the democrats who are in power are vehemently opposed to the war effort. Nobody is going to support a draft and ruin the chances for their party to get the next president into office. Second, the mood of the nation is anti-war. I think the chance of a draft is somewhere in between zip and zero. Relax. It is not going to happen any time soon.

Our military is the weakest in number than ever. being an American is an honor and privilege. The voluntary military isn't enough. There should be a draft to support our freedom.

If thier's a war with Iran (which I doubt the Chinese or Russians will allow Iran is thier #1 oil source), or a war in Wazristan in Pakistan Yes. Not Iraq though.

Besides, we have all sorts of violent criminals locked up in our prison system, can't we give them all guns and dump them where we need to?
