If a taxi driver gets a ticket while driving the taxi, does the driver pay the ticket or does the company pay the ticket?

It is the driver's ticket. The company might pay it, depending on their policy, but the driver is gonna get the points, and the fine.

If it's for bad driving-the driver. If it's a fix it ticket for the vehicle-the company. Most drivers know to check a fix it ticket before the payment time is up or they are surprised with a warrant the next time they are stopped.

Any Co. that is stupid enough to pay drivers' tickets would have a PILE of them each month, as the drivers wouldn't care HOW bad they drive.
