It would be in your best interest to get into some kind of drug treatment before your violation hearing...even if your PO doesn't ask you to do it. When you go for a violation hearing the judge has the final say...they will normally ask for the recommendation of the state, but the judge can do whatever she wants. If you have only tested dirty one time and are actively trying to change then you may have a good chance...also if you get into a treament program you may want to ask for a postponement (then your hearing will be reschedule for a later date so the judge and the state can see how well you do in treatment and on probation).

I personally don't violate someone for one dirty urinalysis test unless they have been doing other stupid stuff. Also, if you try to get into treatment and do better on probation by the time the hearing rolls around your PO may have changed her mind about violating you and asking for jail time. For instance, some of my ppl will be found in violation but I will ask the judge to continue them on probation if they are doing well and seem like they are trying to turn things around.

At the end of the day...its your probation and your freedom so you need to take steps to prove that you deserve to be on probation and out of jail.

One dirty test? After two years I think you will just get drug ten court or whatever the heck its called where you have to pee test whenever they want you to you call in it ends up being like 3 times a week.I feel you though I have got a problem myself and have been struggling with this Bull*hit for years. So since were in the same boat(minus the felony and jail) Iam going to tell you and you already know you my friend have got to stay clean and sober, unless you want to get yourself locked up for a long time get your butt to meetings get them signed off Be honest with the judge tell him you have had a slip realized right away it was a mistake and truly regret it and you promise it will not happen again. And you have got to kiss your probation officers a** big time whine beg and cry dont play the tuff guy.play the sincere honest look ya in the eye guy that promises to make it right and make it right.Believe you can do this because you can.Be honest, they respect that and especially when you have been doing good for two years they know you've been trying.ya know I wonder if your probation officer was suspect on you parting for a while watched the process and decided to shake you up a little.Be cool be respectful and kiss butt like your fighting for your life.because you are and you will win if you stay off the**** all of it.I dont know anyone who's better their lives, who had addiction problems and on that note Iam off to the casino....but I'm clean.

It is completely up to the PO, if he revolkes you are not, if he is revolking you, then you will go back infront of the judge, and the judge will decide what happens to you.

And you had the chance, that is what probation is, you know you are on it, you know you will be drug tested and you used drugs, where do you need another chance , honest now, why ??

Depending on the state you live in and your PO.
In Texas you could be put in a lock down type of rehab. This is no cake walk. However if you really want help ask for it.
They (your PO and the judge) had rather you want help and get help than send you to the pokey.
Good luck.

Would you have had a clean test every time if they had tested you more often? Probably not. Yes, you probably will have to go to jail but at least you will have time to think over what you are doing to yourself and your loved ones.

I'd get myself in to rehab pronto! If the drug was illegal and it sounds like it is, revokation is a possibility. A strong possibility.

If you're getting revoked, then there isn't much you can do but sit your time and hope to get out early on good behavior.

If using violates your parole, then chances are that you may end up going back to jail.

I would enter into a rehab facility now. It will look good for you if you seek help on your own. Good luck and I hope you can stay clean.
