you can only use the 8 inch by 11 inch printer paper and masking tape. the structure has to hold 2 eggs and the structure will have to protect the 2 eggs, making sure that the two eggs won't crack when dropped from the third floor of a building. in addition, the structure has to weigh the lightest.

Two things you need to do: one, create as much drag as possible, so that the impact will be minimized; two, the structure beneath the eggs has to collapse and absorb the energy of the impact.

I've seen these things built with wings that make the device spin like a helicopter, resulting in a fairly soft landing.

Wrap the eggs paper and tape them securely together.

Buy a 50' long roll of masking tape and wrap the end of the masking tape (3 or 4 wraps) around the two eggs .

Stand on the roof and unwind the masking tape to slowly lower the eggs to the ground.

These contests are held all over the country every year and no egg has ever survived a three story drop that I am aware of. It always makes for a good outing and lots of fun, tho.

LoL Love your question and my answer to that's no you could no longer crack the floor. I purely tried it myself and it would not supply an oz.. yet that became me falling off the platform the washer & dryer sit down on interior the storage. somewhat larger than an egg. LOL.
