Heat increases the amount energy the water has, this allows some of the water to become vapor. The vapor goes into the air, but the air in the immediate area can only hold so much vapor. That is when wind come in. It bring is in new, drier air which can hold more water vapor. That is why each factor increases evaporation on their own, but they work faster together.
