I can't make a relationship last. I get bored and want to get out anywhere from a year to a year and a half into it. I have done this so many times. i really want to stop, but have some issues I guess. I don't cheet when i am dating, but after about 8 months I start thinking I could be happier. Am I too picky?

btw, i am 33. I was married young (16)and it lasted 7 years. I left because I felt we changed so much in our views and personalities from when we were younger.(no, i never cheated)

I was like that before too. You might just want to see what else is out there before you really settle down or maybe you get scared to make a real commitment because you dated the guy for so long your probably scared that he wants to take it to the next level and your not ready. I dont think your picky its justs confusion

i know tons of girls that do this. then they break up with there bv who may have been in love and now is hurt forever. if u cant keep a bf bc ur bored then dont have a relationship with anyone. you will end up hurting the other person far worse. if you do really like/love the person and you do the same things every day then dont be bored, TRY NEW THINGS WITH THEM,don't ever use boredom to break up with someone. thats not their fault.

You're looking for something that your current relationship doesn't offer you and it's just fair to look for it outside. Perhaps you associate your happiness to your partner and by so doing you will never stay in any relationship because nobody is perfect. You need to fall in love real bad and when you truly feel and give love, you will know that it's not that easy to let go.

How old are you? A year is a long time to be with one person if you aren't ready to get married. You don't have to make a commitment if you don't want to. What do you think your 'issues' are?

no i don't think you are too picky i just think that in that amount of time you begin to relize if you do care about the person you are with and if you are still compatible!!! you are doing just fine you need to meet new people and eventually you will find that someone!!!
