The original question really doesn't make sense. Why is it a problem for Jesus to take a physical body (out of time) after the resurrection? Who says that He went 'out of time?' he fact of the matter is ... there was an empty tomb. The Jews tried to cover it up. If Jesus' body was still in the grave ... why didn't those who hated the Christians most just go and say, "Look ... here it is!" And Secondly, if it were a lie, why did the apostles (those who would have started he lie) put down their lives for a lie (all but one were murdered)?

Jesus rose up to heaven BODILY! (fleshly isn't a word, although I like it.)

Here's some things to think about for those who think that that tomb was Jesus':

1. If Jesus and Mary were poor, how would they be able to have a family tomb (which were expensive?)
2. Jesus lived in Nazareth. Why would he have a tomb in Jerusalem?
3. Jesus was the 6th most common male name at the time. Mary was the most common female name. Finding those names in a tomb together is not surprising.
4. Jesus was referred to as Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God, but not Jesus the Son of Joseph.
5. Finally, why would his apostles go out and preach that Jesus rose from the dead, was the Son of God, etc., etc. if he didn't? They knew that they would be killed by either Jews (For claiming he was God) or Romans (for not worshipping their pagan gods)

So there ya have it.

just like the other person cited from Peter, Jesus was resurrected in spirit, not in body. something like what will happen to the people that are still living during the time of the rapture, their body is going to be transformed.

so, to answer your question, he didn't take his earthly body with him but you can't find it on earth either because there was a transformation

Yes Jesus rose BODILY and ascended BODILY to heaven. After the resurrection, He walked, ate, drank and talked for 40 days before His ascension

who cares? Jesus was just a man like every other man on this planet. He was a carpenter, had a wife, and possably a child, who knows? He was merely a scapegoat, thats all.

You don't agree with orthodox Christianity in general, so why do you assume that everyone agrees with the basic tenants of orthodox Christianity that call themselves 'Christian?'

There are 'atheist Christians'.
