My boyfriend of four and a half years was here illegally, he left the country under a voluntary departure last week. We have two children together (3yrs and 6wks) and we really need his help over here. I was wondering how I go about doing a K-1 fiancé visa. Are they going to want me to fill out an affidavit of support as well? What if I can’t support him? I’d appreciate any help or advise anyone can offer. Thanks.

You need to talk to an immigration lawyer. Your boyfriend may be prohibited from seeking a visa for a fixed time, depending on how his case was handled. You best bet is a lawyer to get it all figured out.
