deep conditioning is putting moisture back into your hair and helping seal up some split ends. its basically a normal conditioner but much more intense. its ideal if you've had lots of colour on your hair and damaged it. split ends seal up a little but they are better if they're cut out.
they'res so many good deep conditioners, the best ones are bought from a salon for 7-20 pounds but you can buy others in a supermarket for around 3 pounds. the difference is that salon bought products use treated water whilst store bought ones use salt water and cheaper ingredients.
also a deep conditioner should stay on for atleast 3 minutes.

a treatment that makes your dry or damaged hair smooth and healthy looking.

10 min 5 min prep
1 cup mayonnaise (room tempeture if possible, like from a jar of brand new mayo just off the grocery store shelf)
1/2 cup olive oil
3 egg yolks

Blend all ingredients together in a bowl.
* If possible use room tempeture mayo - if not, let mixture warm up to room tempeture*. **If you are in a rush and just can't wait - microwave the mayo for 15 seconds - but be careful - if you nuke it too long it begins to separate**.
Apply thourghly through your hair adding extra at the ends.
Pile on top of your head and cover with a plastic shower cap and then cover with a towel to keep in the heat from your head.
Leave on for at least 10-20 minutes and then rinse out.
Should make 1 to 2 hair treatments depending on the length of your hair.
If you don't want to save the left over for another treatment use whatever is left over as a moisturizing face mask. Also can be used on dry elbow and knees(for best results, this should be used immediately after making and not saved. It will still work, but won't be as effective as when it's fresh).
Do NOT shampoo afterwards, just rinse it really well. Do this on a day when you are not going to go out. Any oil that clings to your hair after you rinse it out, will continue to condition your hair until the next time you shampoo it out.
*** for best hair conditioning purposes, use immediately after making without refridgerating first. The reason is, the fats and oil will penetrate your hair follicles better if it is not cold. Tip to remember for all hair care: Warm/Hot opens the hair follicles so that conditioner can penetrate deeper. And cold water closes the hair follicles. So after you shower your hair, after you rinse every thing out, rinse again with a blast of very cold water. The coldest you can possibly stand. This cold water blast will also make your hair super shiny!***.

Deep conditioning is a conditioner that conditions you hair more strongly......(it's stronger, makes it stay smoothe and dry) It's normally used if you have damaged or dry hair.

Try to get a shampoo for spit ends, I know Aussi has one for split ends AND greasy roots in the same bottle. It's called "Dual Personality" I use it, it ok. They also have that in Conditioner too. I use it also.

For deep conditioner I use Dove. They have a lot of brands you should find it at a department store. It says something like "for dry or damaged hair" It's navy blue, and it sits on it's cap. You should only apply it 2-3 times a week depending on the dryness of your hair.

Hope I could help!~isa B-)

Deep conditioning is when you leave a conditioner on your head with a plastic cap and sit under a hooded dryer for at least 15 mins (no longer that 30 mins). When you put heat on your head you allow the conditioner to penetrate to the inside of your hair shaft. You only need this once a week unless your hair is fried. as for split ends...sorry Hun but you have to cut them off before they get worst.

There is nothing that can get rid of split ends other than cutting them off. Deep conditioner is very rich conditioner that will moisturize very thoroughly. This intern can strenghten the hair, and help PREVENT split ends.

deep conditioning is usually a heat type treatment for hair
and the ONLY treatment for split ends is a trim.
