A staunch Democrat has posted a very kind plea for prayer for a Republican, Tony Snow . He's the White House Press Secretary and has announced that he has cancer . This Democratic user asked the question in Politics and I think we all need to help with our heart-felt prayers .

Prayer does make a difference. Thank you for pointing out that not all staunch people of any persuasion are cruel. I will also be praying for Elizabeth Edwards and her family.

Sorry for getting in so late. Us newbies aren't allowed but just so many answers per day. Earnest, I've lost several Family & Friends to Cancer, alone. And I lost one Family member, to the same exact kind that Mr. Snow is diagnosed with. I offer my Prayers for him & Mrs. Edwards. I ask for courage for their Family and hope this moment can bring us a little closer together. These times are needed for some unity. Prayer can be the common denominator

As soon as I am done answering this I will. I am actually glad that someone was able to set aside their political qualms to do the right thing in lieu of circumstance. YES I WILL! People like that are one of the last few things in America worth being proud of anymore.
