The progressive surrender of the individual will in order to accept Divine will...progressive alignment of the personal will with God.
The rest is by Grace.

Read, then read some more, than keep reading. Always look for the truth. I am also a big fan of Occham's Razor(or Achem, Ockham, it is spelled differently sometimes). Seems the truth is usually the easiest explanation. People like to complicate everything for some reason.

Easy? There is no easy way to attain enlightment. I believe the most important step we can take is to try and overcome the self/self-gratification, because it is through attachment we experience suffering. If we can overcome the self we can see attain true knowledge and understanding. So, how do you do this? I'm guessing it's different for everyone. Buddhism has a method, Mormons have a method, etc. Knowledge is obtained step-by-step, as is the ability to control desire. Good luck.

Enlightenment has to do with totality of knowledge and wisdom, and then much more. So the journey itself is tedious, but the easiest way still remains to be open-minded.

The easiest way to attain enlightenment? There is something amiss about they way you ask that. I don't think enlightenment comes from finding the easiest way. If there was an easy way, it wouldn't be worth having.

The fastest way to enlightenment is tantra. If one has the ability and is on the tantric path, then one can utilize the three poisons as path - but beware - you need a tour guide for that trip. Find a Lama today.

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).

All wisdom originates in God. You want to be enlightened? Go to Him. Jesus is the only way to Him, because Jesus is Him.

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
