My boyfriend, Ryan and I have been going out for seven months now. We love eachother very much. He even says he wants to marry me, and he's extremely sweet. However, now theres one month left till our highschool prom and he wants to go with him. See, he is a junior, and I'm a senior. People aren't aware of our relationship, as people at our school are mostly spoiled rich brats and they'd make fun of, or try to ruin everything for the ones they'd love to pick on. My boyfiend is not so amazingly rich, neither do they accept him at our school, and they also make fun of him due to some unfortunate circumstances he had to go through. Now when/if we go to the prom together, I'd be the prime target for them to irritate. First, they'd harass me about the fact that hes a great below me, and then they'd mock me and say I'm an idiot, and a big moron because I went with a "loser". But they don't see him for what he is, and in my eyes hes perfect. I'm so nervous n confused though. Wat should i do

Listen Hunny, Welcome to the real world, You cant worry about what other people think. If your happy then thats all that matters. The people who are making fun of you and being judgemental, are the ones unhappy in there life, they may have all this money and all the material things, but those things dont matter becasue thats all they will ever have. As for you, you will be have a loving husband who loves you and will treat you with respect while when it come to the time when they meet someone there going ot be so concerned with how much money he makes and how good looking he is and the whole time chances are he'll be running around with other woman being unfaithful. Nows the time when you need to be unconcerned with them and be more concerned with your self. This is High school, drama time in life and the best growing experience is. After high school you will never have to see those people again. Clicks dont matter after high school, what brand clothes you wear doesnt matter after high school, how much money your parents make or how you wear your hair or who you date doesnt matter after high school. BE who you want to be, screw them, let them laugh and make fun, they have nothing better to do then talk about you, then wow your the talk of the school sweetie your more popular then you think u are. They are the losers not u or your boyfriend. Im sure your boyfriend wouldnt feel so good if he knew that you were embarrassed to bring himto prom, its a memorable thing and youd be reala upset if u didnt go. so enjoy yourself and **** them!!

If you really do love him, you shouldn't be embarrassed to let other people know. You've been hiding your relationship for 7 months? That's gotta be a lot of stress for you. Let it go. After high school is over, you'll probably hardly ever see any of those "spoiled rich brats" again, so why bother caring what they think. If you think your bf's something special, don't hide it. He doesn't deserve that.

You should go to prom with the boy you love! Who cares about the spoiled rich brats? If you are going to prom to have a good time, go with your boyfriend and forget about all the losers who are just jealous of you and your relationship.

Never be ashamed of the one you love. If you love some one the whole world should know. This may kill his heart to know how you feel.
How ever I learned a kool thing in school. I became a neither a leader nor a follower. I was able to detach my self from the brats at school. I don't care what they say or think of me or about me. I know me. I am a kool person. Its their loose if they cant handle my boy friend!

After prom, how much time is left until you are out of there? Does he care what people think? You have to choose between what your boyfriend wants and what these spoiled rich brats think. Which will it be?

If you like him that much, then don't worry about what everyone else thinks or says. Hold your head up high and pretend it doesn't matter to you. Losing him or hurting him is not worth giving the spoiled brats the satisfaction of winning. Stop being so paranoid of what others think and live your life to make yourself happy.

(1) You're a senior; you'll be out of there soon.
(2) So what if they pick on you? Is he worth it? Or is sacrificing the person you love just so you'll not be berated by your peers?
(3) Perhaps if you're out of the closet with your relationship, you can introduce them to him, and maybe they'll change their mind.
(4) How will your boyfriend feel when you tell him that you're too embarrassed to be seen with him in public? How would he agree to "date" you in private? Wouldn't he doubt your love, your future together? I would be horribly offended.

If you love this guy, you've got to suck this one up and be public.

okay if you like this guy and he's "perfect" in your eyes then what does it matter what anyone else thinks? I think you care to much about what other people think about you and thats not a very good way to live life. always trying to impress people with everything you do always making sure that you don't do something even if it makes you happy just because other people won't like it.

Your boyfriend does not seem like an embarrassment, the only people who will make fun of the situation are the people you do not like, and forget about them. I mean you are about to graduate and you will never see this people again, and if you love this guy, than you will be able to stand by him.
