The very first time that i

saw your brown eyes your lips

said hello and i said hi

I knew right then you were the one

But i was caught up in physical attraction

but to my satisfaction you were much more than

just a face.

It's not that hard to figure out...but the way I'm going to explain it is pretty much as it is in the song. It means that the first time he saw her and she said "hi", he knew that she was the one that he loved. He was caught up in her looks and didn't see her for who she was at first...but then he found out that she was much more than just a pretty face.

It means that the person was at first attracted to the person only physically but was surprised to learn that there was more tothem than what met the eye. It also means that the character who's singing this is rather superficial, as he/she apparently thinks that you can fall in love with someone just because they have an attractive appearance.

It means that he/she lusted for the other person the first time they met and then later on realized that he/she wanted more than that and he/she was happy to realize that the other person is more than just a pretty/handsome face and perhaps the songwriter wanted to say that this person has more to offer than what meets the eye; he/she could be smart, funny and fun to be with. All those intangible things that make you feel good being around him/her.

It means that the author was initially attracted to the person physically - he or she thought they were really hot. But as they got to know them, they found out that not only were they beautiful, but they also had a good personality or a great sense of humor or something beyond the beauty that they first noticed.

At first the person was just physically attracted to the other but it has developed into something deeper...They realized the other has a great personality.

The first time our eyes met, I heard you say hello and I said hi back.

In that instant, in spite of your beauty, I knew you were the one and as time wore on, I was proved right by your behavior.

the first time he saw her they spoke to each other he thought that she was beautiful and immediately fell for her simply on the grounds of her looks but after getting to know her he was happy to find out that she had more to offer then just a pretty face.

That a person was physically attracted to another person, but they also found out that that other person has a lot more to offer and they're happy about it. ? Also, as the others stated...they're in love.
