I have straight and my sister has nice, wavy hair. Everyone just loves her hair. But then I see all the ads for Pantene and they always use straight hair.

i think everyone wants what they dont have...........curly hair people are the first ones to plug in the hair straightener and straight hair people would just die with out curling irons

i usually wear my hair straight just b/c it's a whole lot easier to do. my hair naturally has some wavy/curliness to it but in order to get it that way, i have to put mousse and let it air dry which takes forever and many times, when it ends up drying, the temp and humidity wasn't right for it to curl the way i want it to. usually, i just give up and straighten it before it even starts to curl. i wish i could change it up b/c i agree that having ur hair one way all the time is boring, whether it's curly or straight
i always felt that my hair felt nicer and looked healthier when its straight. and what the person said above about how straight hair looks shinier it's SO true. sometimes, my hair looks damaged when it's wavy but when i straighten i think it looks healthy.
i think that u should be happy to have your straight hair. if it makes you feel better, know that straight hair is more inviting to touch. guys like to touch and play w/ it more than curly hair. especially if you have to use product to make it wavy and it no longer feels natural...
plus, if you do wave your hair, it'll make it look all the more special =)

I have wavy hair when wet, but if I blowdry it with no brush, it comes out perfectly straight. I hate the way my hair looks, it is the same every day. I think the reason they use straight hair on the TV commercials is because it shows the shine and gloss and color of the hair much more than curly hair would. But me personally, I would love to have curly hair, it has so much bounce and flavor to it. But then again when it comes to styling, I think straight hair is easier to deal with. So it has its good and bad.

Straight hair isn't boring at all! It's very pretty and fasionable. But of course, my hair is wavy. i've found that people who have straight hair like wavy, and people who have wavy hair like straight. It's weird, But seems to be true. After all, the grass is always greener on the other side.

No straight hair is not boring. Sounds like the same thing my mother says daily. She has very straight hair. Where me on the other hand i have curly hair and i hate it. In order for me to have straight hair i have to do so much and add so much product its insane. Where everyone i know with straight hair, it takes them half the time and not as much product to get wave. So find your self lucky. You don't know how lucky you have it!!!!

I have naturally poker straight hair. I used to hate it, but now I have found a hairstyle that suits it that I really like. You just need to find a style that works with your hair. Good luck!

i personally used to hate curly hair and got mine straightened now im bored of straight hair and am now growing back curly......i suppose over time u can sometimes just get bored and want a change...isnt that why curling and straightening irons were made for?

I love straight hair. It is better in everything and easier to handle with or do the decorations that u want with your hair.For me it is more attractive than curly hair.

i have curly hair and i hate it. i dont find straight hair boring at all, i love it. just be glad you arent stuck with a curly mess like mine. you seriously dont know how lucky you are to have straight hair.
