I want to know people's opinions of these beliefs-

There is a God of sorts, capable of any form, and absolutely personal. Due to this ability, this "God" would be the best friend of any person, and without any division of attention to other people. There is an afterlife, in which after a person has learned the necessary lessons in life, they are given pleasurable immortal life, and even the worst of people can redeem themselves over time and with learning. This "God" can be seen in and believed in through any form that one believes, so long as it is not purely the form itself which is worshipped. As well, the believer is entirely aware that this is incredibly unlikely, and yet chooses to accept this belief as it is comforting and yields peace of mind. Said forms have included dolls, a fairy, a mythical bird, a man who lived thousands of years ago, and a theoretical android.

These beliefs are pushed on nobody. Is this person sane? Is it acceptable, or beneficial? Any thoughts?

Heck I like them. Not to mention I agree with 95% of them.

As for if the person is sane, that can only be judged by his actions.

is it acceptable- In a free society absolutely.

is it beneficial- If these beliefs help make the person happier and a more contributing member of society then absolutely.

It is contrary to the Gospel. Knowledge all in itself is not a qualification for eternal life or reward. Jesus said the only way to get it was to believe in and follow he.

You should know quite well the by arming people with knowledge doesnt make them anymore moral or Godly, but in fact dangerous. The problem is it is not what is missing or present in our minds that is the problem. The problem for humanity begins in his heart which is evil, not his mind. Knowledge doesnt save, but Jesus does.

I like the sound of that! If a person believes things like that he/she is the sanest person on earth!
I like the idea of a personal God. One that directly has involvment in daily life.
