i mostly use dry cat food. The wet food I do have is safe so far but I haven't used any of it since the warning came out. I think I will wait till this whole thing is over before I give my cat wet food

Yes... 60 million containers of dog and cat food recalled becuase of contamination with a rat poison that is an illegal rodenticide in the US.
Best stay away from ALL the cat food listed in the Menufoods recall. Check the list in www. menufoods.com

Stay away from all manufactured pet food, including dry, until this thing has been resolved.
I suggest you make your own using tinned fish ( for human consumption ) or chicken, lamb, beef mince ( ground ), cook it in a pot, cook some rice or pasta in another ( under cook it ), drain it, add to meat pot, add some stock to cover and bring to boil ..... it shoud be thick when rice/pasta has absorbed the stock. My dog loved this stuff.
