Thats how I wear my hair. I have American Crew Hair gel, but if you want the wet look, go with American Crew Pomade. Thats what I use. Pomade is better than gel. You basically wet your hair (make sure your hands are dry) scoop the thick stuff out, rub it in your hands, then rub through your hair and style. Works better, looks better and you can even restyle it later in teh day. Not only that, it never flakes like some hair gels.

so you want spikes in front of your head and look as if you just took a bath with wet hair...well their special gels for that function like i use bellcyream *i think that's how you spell it* it does give that wet look but not for hours :/ ...does stand up in front if you want ...you just got to find a gel that specializes in making your hair wet.Find good quality gel , dont buy shotty ones ...

its kinda hard to get that effect but i think la bella is one of the better gels to get out there that wont leave those white flakes if you knwo what i mean. you can get it at target. and its cheap for a big tub. i think for the wet look you might wanna try muse.

I have this stuff called Short Sexy Hair. The stylist recommended it. It's a little pricey, but you don't need much.

I have some thick hair, so I use this then apply a little quick hold spray in the front.
