I'm just wondering how many people want our Candains to come home from fighting a war that is NOT OURS!!!! We maybe peace keepers but come on now how many of us need to die before we get the hell out??????? I think that the USA should fight thier own battle!!!!! So my question is why are we still there? How many want ua to come home? What does everyone think of this fight???? Sorry if this question offeneds anyone.

k well if the USA is our friend then what is with all the "friendly bombing" eh? And you know what the USA is the one that opened thier mouth they should fight it them selfs!!!!! 1st we were lied to by our own President. I feel he wanted to finish the war his daddy couldn't handle. He should of been impeached when the truth came out. We were led to believe 1-2 years and we'd be on our way home. He forgot to say you'd only be coming home in a body bag or with missing parts and limbs for that time frame spent there. Fours years later he's now asking for billions more $$$$ and how many more thousands of military troops? When and where does it stop. He has said himself there is no end in sight. So, since he feels he's done such a damn great job here, why doesn't he resign and go there to Iraq and Iran and solve their problems locally? Bush started this war and should be held responsible for his actions that has cost some many lives. Bring them all home and send Bush there to clean up the mess he made.

The best long term way to protect Canada is to continue to treat all the people of the world fairly. The naive Americans have been conned and still believe they can shovel water.
There is no terrorist threat in Canada (or the US) compared to the number who die from flu every year.
If you were a not so smart terrorist, you could think of way to kill thousands of Americans, in less than 5 minutes.
The Americans have never "protected Canada", the USA never does anything that does not benefit the USA (Soft wood lumber) I love the average American but sadly they do believe their own BS sometimes.
Americans are slow learners and will bang their head forever, before declaring "Mission Accomplished" and getting out, as they did in Vietnam. People who invade other countries, fail, because they lack popular support. Which may prove there is a God.
I also sometimes think that some of these blind eagles, have never spent more than a few minutes with a Muslim.

Did you say Canadians?? Just checking! How many troops do you have over there anyway? I haven't read much about them, it is usually the Americans or British. Maybe you should ask your Goverment why you are still over there or why you went to start with.
Rest assured we Americans won't our brave troops home as much as you. Sometimes we just don't understand these things that we are told happens for a reason.

First of all to Jason I am an American Vet that spent 10 years in the infantry and I have much respect for the Canadian Army and its History. I haven't forgotten that the Canadian 1st Army joined us in the invasion of Normandy as they join us now in this war on terror. The Canadians should be proud of their troops.

That said Littlebabystorms I do believe that this War is all our problem. These Terrorist will kill you and your family just as quickly as they will kill mine. So I believe we should be taking the fight to them not waiting here for them to bring it to us. I know the cost of War is high I have lost friends in Iraq and Afghanistan. My Brother-in-Law is there now. We all want our troops to come home but they need to get the job done first. The quickest way for them to do that is for us back home to stand by them and give them the support they need.

MORE WAR!!! We need our troops to accomplish there mission because if they leave for there Families then they pretty much quit and guess what yup you got it Suicide Bombers in Times Square, Sniper's shooting down celebrities on the red carpet complete caos. I can go on for ever but lets just say that when we quit because these government leaders and terrified families want to then life in The United States of America will be just like life in Iraq!!!


Why do you Americans want the troops back home?

i like how the americans in this like making fun of canadian troops when without them, theyd get flanked right out of iraq. i believe we should stay there. i am in the canadian infantry, and everyone that goes over there wants to, because they believe in the fight against terrorism. if we didnt bring the fight there, they would have brought it here. (look at the wtc). the people who fight there want to, so if you dont want to fight there, then don't, you shouldnt disrespect their job like alot of you are doing, just by debating about it. go debate about something that doesnt save lives.

Just where are the Canadians? In Afghanistan? They're not in Iraq. If Canadians don't think Afghanistan is worth holding then maybe when terrorists strike Nova Scotia or British Columbia they'll want to fight it out themselves with these cretinous beasts...good luck!

The US is currently threatening to strike Iran because the Iranis are holding 15 British sailors. This is what allies do for each other.

I am not entirely sure why this is an issue for the US only. I absolutely agree that our troops should come home, but I would like to see all of them home, Canadian and Americans alike!
