Some would say it's a bad omen. I used to know an old Greek lady who cracked eggs open when she read her cards for someone, and sometimes they'd be full of blood.
I say simply, YUCK! You got a fertilized egg on your plate, and if it was full of blood it could well have started to become a chicky. It's happened to me on occassion, but rarely from store-bought eggs (most always from farm-fresh), and most times it's a spot of blood I scrape out before frying it. But it can gross you out if there's globules of solid stuff that were forming into the chick. I toss those right off. Don't care for a beak in my fork thank you. Eggland's best, you should take it and the entire carton right back and ask for a refund. Yes they are expensive, too much to be having to haggle with chicks forming and bleeding everywhere. That's a disgrace!!!

An egg full of blood means an egg that has been fertilized. A fertalized egg making it through inspections and into your egg carton is rare, but it can happen. Just throw that egg away and make another omlett!

This has never happened to me.
But you should always break each egg in a seperate bowl and add them to another bowl. So if you do encounter a spoiled egg, it wouldn't mess up the others.

Honey that means it is a fertilized egg........Some farms don't keep the hens and roosters separate so you get a fertilized egg every now and then it would have been a chicken.......Most eggs are just eggs equivalent to a woman having her period........I know sounds gross but it is what it is. Just don't eat it and get another one.

Yeah, happened to me once about 16 years ago. I still remember it because it was nasty! Haven't had it happen since though.
