You are probably washing it too often. Try taking a shower daily but washing your hair every other day with lots of conditioner. If that doesn't work, try straightening it. It will tone down the frizzing and make it healthy and shiny.

I have very long hair as well, and it tends to get frizzy, especially when it gets dried out. What I do is first, in the shower, finish with a cold rinse. This seals the cuticles and makes it shinier. Then, after it has dried a bit and is starting to frizz, I rub the tiniest bit of conditioner through it. It works really well if you use just enough and do it when your hair is just damp, not sopping. I use the joico (spelling?) K-pak deep conditioner, but any high-quality type would probably work. Please try this, it has been a lifesaver!
Good Luck!

i used to have a problem with frizziness too until i found a solution. I bought baby oil, coconut oil, or any kind of hair oil and i put it in my hair for 30-60 minutes before i take a shower. When you take a shower you should wash it out alot and afterwards u can use a hair serum from john frida or sunsilk. then your hair will be really soft and shiny. It works well for me.

I recommend Catwalk Fashionista for the frizz[ $15 at most hair salon's] and if that doesn't give you enough shin combine it with BedHead Girltoys {$5-10 at most salons].
You can also use Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner. They work miracles on frizzy hair.

I totally recommend Pantene Ice Shine but use both the shampoo and conditioner cuz I used the shampoo only and it didn't have good results. The dry your hair and brush it like you normally do but for an extra finishing shine use John Frieda's Frizz Ease 100% shine finishing gloss.

Use a leave in conditioner to help with the frizz and if you want shine I recommend using Garnier's leave in conditioner they have the sleek and shine for straight hair I use the curl and shine and it makes my hair shiny and almost completely frizz free.

I have straight brown hair. It is super shiny.. But I don't color it, so maybe that is why. They say if you eat alot of fish, you will get shiny hair. But a clear gloss can do the trick.

We have kinda the same of hair and what I do is I put a few hair greases (w/e it's called) but not too much because the hair could get REALLY greasy and you wouldn't want that.

Try nuetrogena triple shine serum. It's this stuff you rub in your hands and run through your hair, makes it really shiny and it's very light weight. I use it all the time, look into it. =]
