have any of you girls ever had a one night stand? I'm curious cos you always hear about guys having one night stands but girls never admit to it yet there much be the same number of guys and girls having them. There seems to be much more of a stigma attached to girls have one night stands. Personally i do have one night stands and i don't mind being honest about it. The way i think about it is, i'm young and single so i might as well enjoy myself. Anyone feel the same, or do you think its cheap and nasty?

Ive had one night stands as well as long term relationships! i think the double standard between men & women is outdated! if you want no strings sex - go for it! it doesnt matter if you're male or female! A woman has needs!!

Reading some of the answers i would say some ppl are being quite shallow - HELLO one night stands dont necessarily mean you will get an STD - you can use protection you know!
And i dont see anything wrong with having a one night stand as long as you feel comfortable with it! I have had two but that does not make me any less of a person. Quite enjoyed them actually ;-)

Yeah i have had but i to be honest i need to feel comftable with someone to have great sex with them, sometimes i wish i could just relax and go wild and enjoy it for what it is but on the whole for me it hasn't equalled good sex because i haven't felt that deeper feeling....respect i guess, but hey i got issues there anyway but good for you i say, if it's 2 adults and each know where they stand then it's fair play i don't think girls should be labelled for one night stands at all, like i said, as a single girl i wish i could be a bit more open like that (no pun intended there).

You say that you don't mind being honest about it---YOU ARE SOOO LYING. I guarantee that when you find that right guy, you won't tell him about all your one-night stands. hell you will probably lie about the number of sex partners you had. Because you know that, no dude is going to want a girl that has been banged alot, especially banged by one night stands. Any way, one night stands are great and they save you lots of money.

no - i don't think it's cheap and nasty, and as for what one person said about men using women for one night stands, well, i think the women use the men just as much ! hey - we're all adults - we know the risks, and as long as it's not hurting anyone, then it should be up to us what we do !!! i have had a couple of one night stands when i was in my early 20's, and i don't regret them at all..... i wanted some fun, and i got it !!! i think the only thing u need to remember if u are going to have one night stands is to use protection - after all, u don't know the person very well, and it's better to be safe than sorry !

Cheap is when you don't respect yourself and your body.
Slutty is when you have no ounce of interest in the person you go with.
Nasty is when you make them think something else, break their heart, or its your friends boyfriend...
One night stands... I do not share your type of life as I am married and have two children... but I do understand that sometimes you need sex, affection, fun, without having to share anything else in your life.
So... No I don't think its wrong and the reason many girls don't admit to it is because they feel guilty; either they did some of the above, or like you they have doubts and a less strong personality.

...I always say "do what you want...and usually you'll end up doing what you like in the process." You like allot of variety and the spice is your life's liberty. Watch out for dreaded std's though darling. I hear they're running rampent in society these days honestly! Hun?...there's nothing wrong with what you're doing actually...so long as you're simply liking it for yourself. You don't have to live up to anyones standards but your own. Let's hope you aren't switching partners too often though. Cause that would seemingly make you look kinda trampy in some folks eyes I suppose. Ive never had a one night stand myself just not for me. I'm a christian so sex before marriage is a bit of a no no, i cant imagine having sex with a man that isn't 100 % committed to me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, in my opinion. Just be wise & careful. But also have fun, who are you hurting? I think what gives the girls the reputation is by sleeping with a lot of people whom all know each other!! eg, group of mates. I just think you're asking for trouble if you do that! Discretion is the key!!
