All alcohol is harmful to your liver. However, red wine in moderation is good for you, it has massive amounts of antioxidants, and is not bad for your stomach. Reference to Paul the Apostle that told Timothy? to "take a little bit of wine for your stomach's sake" don't you believe for one minute that he was talking about Welch's grape juice. Drink up, but drink plenty of water, too. Oh yeah-and eat whole, natural foods, not a bunch of processed junk! Much love, peace...

Alcohol is a classic case of “a little may be better than none but a lot is worse than a little.” Jane Brody in today's NY Times.
Wine is alcohol, and alcohol can damage the liver. Beer is also alcohol, and can also damage the liver. Alcohol in excess is associated with a host of medical problems, including cancers, and dementia.
