have any of you girls ever had a one night stand? I'm curious cos you always hear about guys having one night stands but girls never admit to it yet there much be the same number of guys and girls having them. There seems to be much more of a stigma attached to girls have one night stands. Personally i do have one night stands and i don't mind being honest about it. The way i think about it is, i'm young and single so i might as well enjoy myself. Anyone feel the same, or do you think its cheap and nasty?

i totally agree,why not -we have urges to.i have had a number of 1 night stands.i have never understood why people look down their noses at girls that choose to do this.they dont know what they,re missing.as long as its safe you go girl.x

I've had 3 one night stands and I've generally regretted it the next day. Not that it was a great disaster but in the cold light of day it doesn't seem such a good idea, both physically and mentally. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to do it.
I don't think it's cheap and nasty but I'm glad it's out of my system and I'm so much happier now I've found a great husband, I'll never find myself in that siuation again.
Edit: By the way, that all happened when I was 25, that was a bad year as I broke up with my first long-term boyfriend and thought I could go out and make up for the 'fun' I'd missed out on. It doesn't work that way though. I notice you're 25 too, from your screen name), I wonder if there is something about that age.

I had what i thought was going to be a one night stand. I did feel a bit cheap but didnt really care that much. The guy was nice and had done a lot for me so it was like a way of being nice and giving somehting back.
However it turned into something more serious and we've ended up dating for over 6 months now.
I've never told him that first time we slept together i was considering it a one off. Dont know how he'd feel about that now...

My word people do have some odd opinions! Why shouldn't you go out and have a sh*g if you want to, as long as you are safe (and I don't just mean wearing a condom, I mean not getting a car with a total stranger as well). I had a few in my younger days and they were great fun. Now I'm happily married with children of my own and I still think there is no reason why men and women who are free and single should enjoy the great feelings that come from having spontaneous sex! And if it isn't for you, then that's fine too!

I am a single guy but would like to say that girls are just as bad as guys now a day´s. It´s just as common for the girl to never call again or answer the phone as it is the guy, in my experiance. And it´s cool by me. Some people just dont want anything more and there is nothing wrong with that as long as your honest about it.

When I was younger, I did. Not often, but I did... I wanted to explore my sexuality and was not dating anyone seriously at the time. I don't think it is cheap and nasty as long as you are honest about what you are doing, and both you and your partner are on the same page.
Some people feel that sex should only be emotional, while others feel that sex can be recreational...
As long as you are SAFE... enjoy!

I don't care what anyone else does, it's none of my business what you do in your own private time, my only concern is that you be very careful to protect yourself, there are way too many people with AIDS, and other STD's and I don't think people realize how many there are. And don't EVER be with a man that is married or in any kind of relationship, that's where you become very cheap and nasty and immoral.

It is ok.....BUT.....only if you are single, and you are practicing safe sex, AND the most important one, if you are emotionally strong for one might stands. The reason why I say that is because there will come a point in your life you will want to make love. You will be very confused and will get very depressed when you realize that you dont know how to make love. Be very careful. Take care

To each their own is definitely right.
As long as you are legally old enough to make decisions on your own and as long as you're being super careful and protected then I think it's 100% ok.
Don't let people put you down or make you feel low because you do that.
I think its your personal choice and there are many women who do it.
The girls who are calling you cheap or a whore are probably jealous because they aren't getting any.

i used to not since i met my wonderful hubby though, i was married before and had a s**t time so when we divorced i sowed those wild oats and may i just add........had an absolute...f***** ball. i always practised safe sex and not one of them matches up to the great guy i married, so it was worth it, there is nothing at all wrong with it i admire your honesty, just always be safe, not just with the protection issues but never with complete strangers
