I am getting my hair highlighted this wknd, I need some suggestions!!?

I don't want to end up with brassy, blonde or red highlights. I want a look that is subtle and sun kissed. I have dark brown, kinda ashy, hair. Any help would be appreciated!!

You should get light brown kinda gold (not blonde) highlights. That's what i'm gonna get soon

if you want them to look natural, just get your highlights done in one shade lighter than your hair colour or even 2
