He only has two more years - unless Democrats go to the extreme. We can wait that long for Global Warming, so we can continue not letting Bush off for the whole war crimes thing.

First of all....no American administration will EVER be able to truly solve global warming. It's a global issue. We're not the only country mucking up the planet, and we're definately NOT the worst offender these days.China,Japan, and India are doing a right fair job of making the USA look like a bunch of slackers when it comes to pollution. We can't fix this problem without cooperation from all of the other countries in this world.
Secondly....let them slide? What is it that they need to be excused for? Starting a war that is historically one of the least costly in terms of American lives? Or is it the upward trend of our economy that has you bothered? Maybe it's one of the lowest unemployment rates in recent history that you feel deserves an apology? Or maybe the fact that since 9/11 no terrorist acts have taken place on American soil? Yeah...The Homeland Security folks are slackin' right? It could be that your irritated by all the extra taxes you HAVEN'T been paying these past few years.
Please.....tell me what it is that the Bush administration needs to "slide" on?

in your dreams
it will never happen

in the first place

ecologists and scientists who work for politicians ,get paid by these politicians and they have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change and change effects many peoples incomes, and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.

in the seccond place
Global warming is in theory reversable, but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,

At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where.
and the administration is more focussed on starting a global War for supremisy than in saving humanity
on the contrary
Kissinger said in a meeting in Kopenhagen in 1998 that the Agenda demanded a decrease in the world population of 60%,and the same people behind the scenes are still behind the scenes and will be with the next administration as well

but just to be optimistic here are some posible SOLUTIONS
if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to reverse the destructive processes

reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.

the capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.

the world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia

Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.

the protection of existing forrests.

stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.

education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.

education on environmental awareness
education on family planning to curb over´populaion

Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.

more environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks

,more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour

alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine

recicling wastes,limit water use

Unless you can influence the sunspots on the sun, you can't. Global warming is a cause, not a result, of increased atmospheric CO2 levels.
