V = A x H
= (pi)(r^2)(H)
= (3.1416) (30/2)^2(21)
= 14844 cubic units

To convert to liters: if unit is in meters,multiply by 1000 if in feet multiply by 28.316.

It would help to have input the measurements in which it is to be calculated: 30 feet long by 21 feet in diameter, 30 inches long by 21 inches in radius, ect... However, the mathematical formula will still be the same. Volume would be pi=(3.14159) x (radius squared) x (height). I believe that is the correct formula...

Well, to find the volume of a cylinder, you do this formula:
pi*r2*h

That will give you units cubed. I'm not sure what units you're using, probably meters. So, you'll have meters cubed.

1 m^3 = 1000 L
