God warns Adam & Eve not to eat from "the tree of knowledge" or they will die. Is there any verses in the bible were god makes it clear of the consequences of sinning other then - you will die? How could they, adam & eve have possably understood death?

If they had any query as to what death was or any questions as to the consequence of their failure to their keeping of the 1 law they were given, they could have asked God. The Bible says regarding this event that Adam was not deceived, he knew what he was doing (1 Timothy 2:14).

He kicked them out of the garden of Eden, genesis 3: 23. Of course this was after the fact. Maybe you meant beforehand to deter them . Maybe you are saying to be fair god should have told them ahead of time what would happen if they disobeyed. God wanted to know if they would obey or not. He did not want to know at what point the penalty was severe enough to get Adam and eve to comply OK? ciao

No, the only consequence of sinning is death. Some verse in Romans says the consequences of sin is death. and a verse says that lust gives birth to greed and greed gives birth to death. Something like that. But you don't have to die! Accept Jesus as your savior and you will have eternal life. questions go to www.bbnradio.org and click on chat.

Read Revelation 12.

How were Jesus and John the baptist born?
How were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob born?

They were all born of the Holy Ghost,
Which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God

Why would you believe Moses over God, the Father, who is in heaven?

Sure, right here:

Genesis 2:16-17
Genesis 3:14-19 (Read it all)

"16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

"14And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

God was not playin.
