ok, so on 03/24/07 I called Banfield Pet Hospital and asked them to change my due date from 03/26/07 to 03/30/07, the rep told me she could only change it to the 5th, or the 12th of April. So I agreed to the 5th. Well 2day I get a call from my bank saying Banfield overdew my account. I called Banfield and they told me all they could do was waive one of my monthly payments which is $22, a lot less than just 1 of my overdraft fees! the first rep I spoke to was so rude he refused to transfer me to a supervisor and hung up on me, the 2nd rep was nice, she said she transferred me to a supervisor but all I did was leave a voice mail on someone's line, I don't even know if whoever I left a v/m with is, in fact a supervisor. What can I do? this is so unfair. They obviously know they are at fault, and that I'm not lying because they said the first rep I spoke to was new, and that they would waive 1 monthly pymnt. I don't know how much in overdraft fees this is gonna cost me.

Go over their head. CAll the bank first thing and tell them what went down. After that who is your state attorney general in the state capitol? There should be a listing in the blue pages. Complain to him. Also contact both the Better Business Bureau AND Consumer Affairs and file complaints with both. It's free and either one can resolve this problem for free.

Keep calling untill you get what you think is fiar. i fthey are not willing to work with you inform that you will not be paying them any more, you are putting a block on your bank account and will be changing vets. The over draft fees you got because they messed up cost more then what you owed them to start with.

If you have a sweet enough voice and are pushy enough You will get exactly what you want.
Id expect $25 for each check that the bank had to cover, and each company has there own fees for a check bouncing.

hey! I would call them again and again to try to deal with it over the phone and ask them nicely to cover the overdraft fees. If they are rude and do not then take the grounds as pinkrose suggested. But please first try again because it was probably a mistake they made. I am sure it was not intentional. And call them when you have calmed down, because I know how I get when I am P Oed!!

Good luck!

I think you should go there and speak to someone face to face. That way they can't hang up on you. Also, bring a copy of your bank statement.
