just have a red tone underneath. But being as its black how can I color it (myself) good enough to where the red will actually show through. Any color that would stand out more over the black?? Or do i HAVE to bleach the bottom first?

It is colored black, natural hair color is dark brown.

well is your hair naturally black? i think you have to bleach it first...
or if its dyed you can buy color stripper..

Hi, I have black hair and have used the Feria brand of color and it worked great for my hair. I put a burgandy color on and it looked awesome! It came out as a dark plum color, gorgeous!

don't do it it will make your hair red and your skin look sallow!
