Setting aside all the unfair representation Jesus has had through the ages and thinking only of what He did and said, himself, what would you ask Him? How would you serve Him? What food might you prepare? Or would you just tell him to go next door instead?

Jesus said: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

Bobby: Not taken personally. I am well aware that many believers in Jesus have misrepresented him (Myself included) and left many people thinking that to be a Christian is to be insane.

Matt: A humble question, indeed.

livingintheword: The thought overwhelmed me too. Of course I think of Mary and Martha in Scripture. Martha fussing too much in the kitchen, upset that Mary was not helping her, but sitting instead at Jesus' feet. I think I would struggle with the desire to shower him with foods fit for a King and humbling myself to jus sit and be still and let Him serve me with His presence.

I would ask him to teach me that trick about turning water into wine. That could be really useful. I would probably serve Gilflet, and bagals...kosher of course.

wow....that is a lot to think about!

what would I ask Him.... maybe when we can go Home.. but of course, if he showed up for dinner, that would mean we were going home!

I would serve Him humbly and fully attentive ... as for food... lots of fresh veggies and seafood, homemade bread... i don't know... all i know is that all I have is because of all He has done!

I'd serve him some nice Middle Eastern Food. I'd probably have to order it in, because I don't know how to cook it.

I'd ask him all about the time period in which he lived, and want to know all about his life growing up (since we know so little about that).

I'd make enchiladas. I've noticed most guys named Jesus like enchiladas. The wife makes some good queso too. I'd ask him if he knew English first because a lot of guys named Jesus don't. Then I'd probably just chat with him about whatever he's interested in.

But in all seriousness my dog would probably bite him. She has a thing against Mexicans for some reason.

Do you like the war that is going on in Iraq?
What would you do to stop it?
Where were you really born?
Was your Mother Nice?
Was your Mom really a virgin when she had you?
I would drown him in so many questions!
I Would serve him the Finest wine and Dinner!

I would ask him what he likes to eat, would he like wine with that and if there's anything else he might like, as I do with many of my guests. When dinner is over and the chat part of our visit begins I'll ask him many questions about the book written long after his death and what parts of it are true or false. If he asserts that all of it is true, I'll take him on a little history lesson and see if he feels badly about all of the destruction of native cultures, wars, burning of innocents and hatred toward our fellow man that the bible has inspired.

Because my faith in him is so strong, and I know that all I need to know will be revealed to me heaven. I would take to my grandmothers for her pot roast... Jesus knows I am not a good cook. I would listen to his words...my only 2 questions would be Which came first, and what does Anna Nichole think of all this commotion, about the baby, and the DNA...LOL

I would prepare pasta, my specialty. I would treat Him with all the respect. I would engage in a conversation about Spirituality and make a lot of questions. I would chat all night, maybe play cards, have some coffee together... and finally say: "I hope to see you soon again."

Peace!

I wouldn't I would slam the door in his face for being a god who insists on torturing atheists who have lived good and honest lives simply for insisting on some evidence. I'd tell him to take his 'sacred' backside out of here cause I don't want anything to do with a god who has a need for any place called Hell.

Hooray for atheism. What utter nonsense religion is.
