ok so i am getting my 3rd tattoo...its a star with a banner around it and a short quote inder it in honor of my mother who passed away when i was 13 (im 21) the outline and the words are going to be black but i cant figure out what color would look good for the shading. i was thinking a dark pink/redish- orange for the shadowing and a lighter pinky-peach color for the inside...but do they even make those ink colors? my other ones have black, turquoise, magenta, purple and dark blue...no light colors..thanks guys!!

They can mix colors and even suggest colors for you, so I would ask your artist and explain to him/her what you would like to convey and I'm sure they'll be very understanding, espically when you are tattooing to remember someone, they can see in overall what would look best.

A lot of times, when tattoo artists are doing tattoos, they have to mix colors to make the color needed. The colors you want, I'm sure if they don't have, they can make. And your idea is great! I hope it comes out as pretty as it sounds! Good luck!

A good artist can combine basic colors to make any color you want. I have 3 tatts of various sizes that are mostly blended colors. One can never have enough ink, I want more!

I like the idea of having the dark pink/red. maybe having those two colors fade in with one another would be nice to have for the shading.

Pink would be nice, if you like pink that is. Choose your mom's fav color since your honoring her. Dont know her fav color? Ask a family member or choose your fav color.

Yes, they can do those colors.
Several of my tatts have that color combination.

most tattoo shops have alot of light pinkish peachy colors. you can even buy tattoo ink and have them sterilize it and use it on you. i have a lot of light colors in my tatts

yes. they'll make whatever color you want. keep in mind light colors fade faster. but it sounds beautiful! Good luck!

um i'm pretty sure they make light colores, mine are all blue, green and black, but i'm not sure, sorry
