It depends on the number of answers. 1 Q I answered has several thousand answers. I don't have it in me to read each and everyone. For the most part I do read each and every answer. I sometimes do it before and sometimes after. One benefit of doing it before is then I stand a smaller chance of looking like a copy cat, and at the same time, am able to adddress some of the more out there responses. (IE when answering on a subject that is a matter of true or false, and someone tells a falsehood I will at times address it) Also I read the other responses to rate them. I feel it only fair that if I am going to rate them, I should READ them. I rate based on correlation to the question, rudeness level, amount of CandP, amount of links(seriously when someone links as there answer I go crazy, unless the question asks for links)

Absolutely! I always love to read the answers to see what other people have to say. If someone has answered a question very similarly to the way I would have, then I usually won't answer for the sake of others on here becoming bored with the repetition.

I ususally read them after I respond too :0)

I depends on the question. Sometimes when I read the answers I see someone has given a good Godly answer and so I don't always answer in that case. I pray about the answers so I know I can give a good answer....and I make sure I give a thumbs up for the answers I really like....I try not to give thumbs down unless it's really hateful, or not at all what the question was about. I've even given thumbs up to non-Christians because I enjoyed their answers.

I have started to answer some as they were posted and by the time I am finished 4 or 5 other responses have been posted.

I also don't read the long ones all the way through and seldom look at the links.

I usually read a few of them before I respond and if someone has an answer that is close to what I had in mind then I just give that one a positive rating instead of answering it, unless I feel like my answer might explain things clearer.

Actually, I spend the majority of time on here just reading answers. Sometimes I read before responding, sometimes after.

I too spend much more time here reading than writing. I read answers before I post. If someone has already said the same thing I plan to say I do not bother.

I like to read the answers, if they're not long--like sermons or the whole quran. Usually, I read them after I answer, but if there are a lot of answers, I don't answer unless it's something I feel very strongly about.

I normally only answer new questions, so I read them after I answer. This is older, so I read one or two, but I'm about to read the rest.
