Why do you continue to fall for this nonsense?

I am looking for a real explanation from Christians, especially those who have referred to Satan as a real being. I am interested in hearing what your explanation is.

I wonder how many checked the links you provided?
People like Laurel Rose Willson scare the crap out of me! Only in that what she perpetrated is probably pretty common practice by some of the so called "Evangelists". The only thing saving "witches" from mass persecution by Robertson and Fallwell is that they are currently consumed with eradicating "the evil Muslims" because they are trying very hard to convince all Good Christians that ALL Muslims are terrorists! So please, send them all your money so they can continue their fight! LMAO!!
Sorry I had to chime in, I am anxiously awaiting explanations as well that do not rely on scripture.

What kind of explanation do you need? Satan is a real being. He was the most beautiful and brightest of the angels but he refused to serve God and so he fell and was cast into Hell.

Ever since then he's been getting his jollies by encouraging mankind to thumb its nose at God, just like he did.

Demons are real, too.

What kind of proof are looking for? Photographs, written memoirs....? We see evidence of the work of Satan and the demons everywhere. We have documented accounts of encounters, visions and exorcisms from the past two thousand years. And we have the testimony of Holy Writ.

God bless you.

Christians are inclined to give Satan far too much honour - mainly by blaming him and his minions for everything bad in general, and even everything bad they do in particular!

The insanity you refer to was often carried out by people professing to be Christians, but bear in mind the trap of people thinking that because their parents baptised them as babies, that "made" them Christians. No-one who hates his brother or who bypasses a person in need has the love of Christ in them. No-one who hates perceived enemies can honour Christ (who said to love your enemies and to pray for those persecuting you.) So, if you can shove over the straw man, you might be open to a real explanation. Like to re-phrase your Q?

If you mean the Salem witch trials.
They were not Christians.
The first two burned at the stake should have been the two preachers.
The next ones should have been the accusers. It would have stopped so fast it would have made their heads spin.

There is nothing for us to explain about "past" things that Christians did or didn't do. I, myself, have only lived this one life and wasn't there to watch or judge. But I am sure you were so please continue on. I believe Satan is a real being, what is there to explain about that?
