Narcissist
Narcissism is the pattern of characteristics and behaviors which involve infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification, dominance and ambition. In everyday use outside the field of psychology, the word generally refers to people who just are inordinately fond of themselves, without the pathological connotations.

Your question is badly worded. A person IN LOVE with themselves is a narcissist. But everyone should love themselves. The difference is the level of attention one gives to oneself. Someone who loves themselves is a balanced person. A person in love with themselves is egotistical and cares for themselves above others.
I don't care if this is 7 years old. All these answers are wrong to your specific question.

well adjusted. However there is an overblown version of loving oneself that is narcissistic. The person is called a narcissist when they have an excessive admiration of oneself.
