i have made fresh breaded garlic mushrooms,deep fried till gold and crisp with a sour cream garlic dip,then for the main course,spaghetti carbonara made with pancetta,field mushrooms and parmiggiano reggiano cheese shavings and obviously the basic carbonara sauce..i can't wait to tuck in but does that tickle your fancy?

me and my sis are having a wee bottle and have ended up leaving cooking a little late but yes we have got the munchies now!

It does sound tasty although the two courses together sound a bit heavy going. I would have probably put the starter with a lighter main course like chicken and Mediterranean vegetables or if I was having the pasta for a main then I'd have something like smoked salmon or king prawns for my starter.

i totally adore breaded mushrooms with sour cream....if it was healthy I could eat them everyday lol.
