What if someone very close to you in the perfect health father, mother, sister, brother, child died for no apparent reason? How long would your faith hold against this kind of test? Could you actually tell yourself that it is all part of Gods plan and go on or would you curse him and walk away forever?

Why do we have to suffer? Why does God make us prove something he already knows is true? You are weak.

That is the challenge,

I know people who have lost people very near to them, for no reason that we can understand.

Some just move on, but most either move to hate God, and live a miserable life of Drugs and unhappiness or the other side and move to a closer love for God.

The latter group seems to do better in my observation.

Luckily, I have not been put to that test......

Peace and God Bless!

I hear what you're saying ... when trials come who will walk away. I was a born again Christian for 10 years and when the really tough stuff came along, I muddled through it with unceasing prayer for about 4 years before giving up and walking away . Never thought it would happen to me but here I am.

Since God is not responsible for taking the life of loved ones, and I have lost many over the years, I won't blame him or lose my faith in him.

Actually, I know that God plans on resurrecting them one day so that I can enjoy life with them once again. (John 5:28,29).

I can't blame God for what Satan has done to us. Because of satan, sin and death has entered into the world. God is not the cause. He does however allow it to continue. But I know that he will soon step in. (Zephaniah 1:14). And one day the earth will be filled with his righteous servants, and sin and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3,4)

Christians endure suffering every day without turning their back on God. It is from the strength of the Lord that we draw our strength. Let the weak say I am strong in the strength of the Lord.

Why would this have to have anything to do with some God that someone told you about? Seriously, just because someone tells you something or writes it in a book doesn't mean it's true. Get a clue, man.

I could believe in a god under those circumstances, albeit an evil god. They just died for no reason at all? Like god randomly killed them or something?

Jesus said" it is not my time"

There are yet 4 months left till harvest.
This generation shall not pass until all is fulfilled.

Your time on earth has it beginning and ending. Jesus said; believe that I can do this.

Repent and believe in the Gospel, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The kingdom of heaven is here and it has been here on earth, since Jesus declared it 2000 years ago, but you did not believe him.

I would pray that they would go to be with God, I don't believe that God 'takes people to heaven' or prevents death, because its part of the life cycle. Accidents happen, people die. Its hard to accept, but I would and move on.

Why would I need to curse a fictional character? Scientific evidence has already given him a kick to the face.
