There's the link to the story. Some Afghans were quoted as saying they were offended at the policy of Afghans using different Porter Potties than Americans and Europeans. Now a Lt. General said that it is not a race issue, it is just the bathroom habits. I agree with him, I would even go as far as saying it is a sanitation and health issue. Afghans and Iraqis have the same bathroom habits to say, when I was deployed in Iraq the Iraqi Army had Porter Potties at their guard posts, and to be nice about it the Porter Potties were disgusting, I would not want to use them. So this policy was implemented on that basis. Once again though someone is crying racism or prejudice when it is plain to see that it is for other non racist or prejudice reasons. Both Afghan and Americans have the same kind of Porter Potties, so no one is being shorthanded either, what's the deal? What do you think?
