First - 'Jan' above me is a liar. I have seen her answers before and she contradicts herself frequently. If this story is "true" she met a wacko...not a Wiccan. It is against the Wiccan Law to put a spell on anyone without their permission....but I must say that her story has the ring of falsehood to it.

Secondly, why do you think that all religions follow your mythology? Paganism and the tenets Wiccans follow are much older than your christian mythology. They cannot worship something they do not believe in. Now I understand that you think everything not christian is the devil....well okay that is your right....but to slander and harm a loving group of ppl like Wiccans is outright evil. Why don't you think about WWJD?

You'd have to explain to me what satanic side that is. I guess I'm confused as to the question b/c obviously you know they don't worship Satan (for that would be Satanic, not Wiccan).

Do you mean they pretend to be perfect and without ever doing anything bad? You must have met a really warped arrogant Wiccan than b/c I've never met one that thought they were perfect. Don't blame them all b/c of one crazy individual.

Or do you mean why do they keep telling you they aren't satanic? I guess the better question is how many times have you been told this and still aren't getting it.

Wiccans don't have anything to hide. They are not Satanic, and they can never be Satanic because they don't believe in the Christian Satan! :D

A true Wiccan does not hide it, at least not amoung themselves.

Many Wiccan's today recognized the negative, nasty, ugly, despicable reputation that goes along with being a witch, primarily of which is the league that they must form with the devil in order to obtain their "powers" through familiar spirits, otherwise known as demons.

In an effort to revamp this negative, but true view of themselves, they recreated these filthy demons as "elemental spirits" and say that they are positive and not of the devil, when of course they surely are. This way, they get more recruits.

To these new recruits, the objective is simply to gain power in their lives, not only over their own present and futures, but to have power over other's lives as well. Kind of like having little genies, and some of these Wiccans just do not realize the price that these "elemental spirits" charge (namely, eternal damnation).

Satan's objectives are to get as many people as he can into anything else but God, and this is acheived nicely by these kinds of beliefs. That way Satan gets a ready-made army, all serving his purposes and ultimate goal, without many of them realizing it. Later satan will reveal the objective of trying to overthrow Jesus and His followers at the coming of the antichrist.

Wicca has got absolutely nothing to do with satanism. Wiccans are not devil worshipers and to infer otherwise is offensive and ignorant. I suggest you try doing some research into before you jump to Hollywood movie conclusions.
