The only way to lose fat is to do general cardio exercise such as running or (my preference) aerobics. Unfortunately you can't spot reduce your tummy. When trying to make your midsection look more shapely, I find it helps to do lots of work on the obliques, the muscles that make your waist look slimmer. If you don't have time to get them in shape by prom, there are always lots of slimming things you can wear underneath your dress to hold yourself in.

Don't starve yourself, that is so unhealthy. exercise an hour or more a day. set up a reward system. buy a bigger dress. you should at least cut down on the calories, a lot. stay away from fatty foods such as meat milk, butter and pancakes. read the ingrediants to everthing.

it depends on when your prom is. it will take some time. but you should stay away from fatty foods and do more aerobic exercises every other day, and when you exercise drink alot of water before, during and after your routine. you dont really need to tone up your stomach though.
