My family moved to Turkey and I miss the USA. I don't understand the language and it is hard in class. I think about the USA 24/7. I want to go back but I can't. We moved here my dad said. I have no friends well some but not like the friends in the USA. The school is.... oh help its just so like my life is falling. Don't understand anything! We live in this small apartment with my mother and father. It’s depressing! It’s not organized like the USA; I mean its ok for vacations but for me not to live. I'm not putting the country down or anything. It’s a lovely country but just not for me. You know what I mean. I have to where a uniform for school and school is not fun like the USA. No programs for people like me in the school. Some times I like it here some times I don't. It’s driving me crazy. I miss our old house my friends, school, teachers. I want to be a pilot but can't understand anything in math here. What can I do, I’m hopeless.
:(

Well if you feel that way, how many other kids your age feel that way? Be productive start up something that will keep all you feeling that way occupied. You didn't say if its a permenant move or a 3-4 year move, regardless fact is you only have 2 years there and you can come back, in the mean time try to make the best of it by planning and coordinating get aways to the waterpark there or to some of the historical sites that many people wish they could see. Head up a sports club or what ever it is you yourself is missing, chances are if your missing it so is other kids from other parts of the world.

My parents moved around quite a bit when I was in school. I spent too much time hating changes, and not trying to make the best of things. In reality I lived in a great town, with fun people, with gorgeous weather and beaches. I didn't notice anything except how much I missed where I was before. I should have accepted that I could not change things, and I would have been much less miserable!
It will take you time and effort to adjust to moving anywhere, even more to another country, I'm sure! If you know you aren't moving back to the U.S. anytime soon, then try to see what is good about where you are!!! Life is too short!

How good is your relationship with your parents? If it is good, then you should be able to talk with them and express your unhappiness.

Do you have any family living here in the US that you might be able to live with? If so, suggest that option with your parents. Perhaps, they could come up with a solution. Even if it's as simple as beginning by permitting you to just spend the summers here, that would be a start.

You don't mention your age, so I have no idea how long before you are out of school or on your own. Bide your time, however. Even if your parents never allow you to move back here without them, when you are of the age of maturity, you can move back on your own.

Keep pursuing your dream of being a pilot. Pilots certainly aren't quitteres. They are known for their great minds and reflexes. Surely, you will come up wtih a suitable plan!

no hopeless just way different and sucky!
if you don't understand ask more questions! and even more untill you understand!
i can only imagin how hard this must be for you!
but your alive and you have goals! Sadly no new friends to share them with yet!
give it more time! and accept the cards you were delt..
Yes it sucks but we all have sucky parts in our life!
YOU CAN GET THROUGH THIS IF YOU LOOK FOR THE GOOD!
if youfocus on everything that you miss and how sucky it is youwill feel this way for a LONG LONG TIME if you want that time to shorten start looking for the good things!
eg: I can tell anyone anything about my life and they will beleive me!
what can i tell this kid over here!
wonder what these peeps would do if i just stand her and point up into the sky would any one look!
or just become an internet friend with everyone and spend your time infront of that!
