If god's word was revealed (or re-revealed) periodically throughout the ages (Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc.) ending with the Quranic revelation, why did it stop there?
It seems like he kept giving every few generations a "second chance", but 1300 years ago the second chances ended.
This is an honest question, not an attack or anything, it just seems inconsistent.

Allah chose the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) to be the last prophet and insured that the Quran would stay the same forever. Therefore, after the Prophet, the message would stay on, and whoever wanted to stay on the path would. It is easy to become confused by this concept, and many people question. But, we must remember that all monotheistic religions believe that God's decisions are with a certain intelligence that no human can understand behind them. Muslims also believe this. The chances have ended, because this chance lives on. Any person can see the beauty of the Quran and become a Muslim at any time. It is not that the chances have ended, but that the people have closed their eyes. Peace.

The Quran grew to become into the revelation to the final prophet (pbuh). The Quran does not override the Quran. regardless of in case you do not take the Quran as actual, you nevertheless would desire to grasp that that's impossible. The Quran additionally does not contradict itself. i don't advise to insult your intelligence yet there's a distinction between inconsistencies interior a text textile and a individual's lack of ability to appreciate how specific aspects of a text textile are consistence. i'm involved as to appreciate precisely the place you have faith there to be a contradiction. you may message me on it in case you like. peace

Revelations ended by the end of the messenger list. Muhammad PUH was the last one on the list.
The Quran is reserved in it’s original text, this can’t be said about the Bible. So the need for a new revelation is simply not there.
God bless

Because we believe that Muhammad (pbuh) was the last Prophet with the final and complete message. We believe that Prophet Isa (Jesus) will return as a messiah, similar to Christian beliefs. He will come when the judgement day is near.

Because God promised that Islam and Quran will never be corrupted, then there is no need for any other prophets, prophet Muhammad (pbuh) told us everything we need, and he told us also that he is the last prophet and anyone claims to be a prophet after him is a liar.

The Quran was sent to complete the Torah and Bible. It has been sent to all mankind for all generations. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last Prophet who ame to remind mankind of their purpose of this life and to perfect for us our religion.

God's (not Allah's) revelations are recorded in the Holy Bible (not the Quran), and they continue today through His creation.
