track your workout and food intake at www.fitday.com track how many calories you need a day to maintain your weight at www.caloriecontrol.org.

don't eat too little or your body will shut down to conserve energy.

keep track of your caloric intake by running a tally. the calorie content of a given food item is on the package or container. go to a fitness store and get a pedometer or similar device to record calorie burn through out your day. hopefully you find that you burn a litte more than you take in. follow the baseline of a 2000 calorie a day intake and then adjust from there to your liking.

My-calorie-counter.com has this awesome device where you can track how many calories you consume and how many you burn a day and then they put it on a cool graph, INCLUDING how much weight you've lost/gained ... it's really really awesome.
