Just be yourself and talk to them you shouldn't change the way you are but if you want to do something try making food that is similar to Turkish food or that is Turkish food.

Be respectful, cheerful and modest. If you can learn a few Turkish words first - words of greeting, thanks, whatever - it will show you are trying to be friendly and care. Since they are probably Muslim, even though perhaps secular, do not cook pork products for them. You should expect them to be something between modern European and traditional conservative people. Turkish people are very proud of their culture and heritage, and a lot of them are well educated.
If you decide to marry your boyfriend, I hope you will take a trip to Istanbul. It's a very romantic place.

It is difficult to say because the people in Turkey are split into so many ethnic groups.I would say try to be yourself and definitely dress modestly .Your boyfriend should be the one advising you really.Turks vary a great deal in lifestyle and attitudes from people who live twenty to a room and get their water from a well and others who are extremely westernised.I would say the same as meeting any boyfriends parents take it slowly to start with.

Try to get as much as possible info about them before meeting. If they are traditional people: don't talk too much especially to the father. I suspect they are not traditional (I hope) but still: no ham, halal meat and lots of respect (and self respect). Don' t charge about them at first look. And beware what you talk about: consider some topics about yourself with good points

you dont have to.just be yourself.sounds like you are a caring person and over time they will know you.there are differnt ethnic sects with quite different cultures.turks from turkey,turkiminitan,azerbayjan,iran are from different culture
turks from iran and turkey are rather open minded and family oriented and trusworthyand warm.turks from turkiministan are more conservitive and into themselve.turks from azerbayjan are more isolatinist when it comes to new commers.so if you know which group your friend's parents are from,try to sort of be respectful of their background without trying to impress.your friend is your friend because he/she sees good quality in you and not who you try to impress.turks are great people in general.they are after all closest caucasia mountains,meaning they go back thousands of years .culturally and ethnically and demographically they have deep roots .great (spiritually),smart (intelectually) and brilliant (functionally) and clear headed and positive in general.so there you have it!

Be polite, don't speak too much, don't be too assertive atleast not right away. IF they are traditional they are going to look for a girl who is respectful of their customs, and is not like new wave American overbearing. You can be like this person just keep it in check around the parents for now.
