Any grocery store such as Whole Foods or Central Market will carry Mexican Oregano. If you can't find it don't worry b/c the flavor between the common Italian Oregano you find is pretty much the same as Mexican. The only difference is that Mexican Oregano tends to have a much stronger "oregano" flavor. If you have to use Italian Oregano just add more than the recipe calls for. :o)

I agree with Mike, I ama former chef and find it to be a bit more heady, a little citrusy, more impact in dishes, and like epazote it has more dominance in the dishes, like the pozole, menudo and in moles and chile verde sauces. Greek oregano is actually the wild cousin to marjoram, and is alot more subtle, not as acidic or dominant in dishes, like parsley dried oregano lends a light taste, now fresh oregano had a totally difference taste and finish, it is nicer for salads, over tomatos or with fish in oil/butter sauces.

I really don't know if you can get it some place like World Market or Whole Foods, or maybe Fiesta Mart...I use the non Mexican while I have been here so...let me do some research, if I find anything I will edit later.
