Is regular beer like bud light a good steak marinade like a dark beer?

You can use a light beer yes.. the marinade is not as strong.. use a good light pilsner if you can find one if you want a light beer..

I use Bud or Bud light in my marinade and it has always turned out great...

technically speaking the difference between bud and bud light is the color...so why not...

I've heard of this but not sure what flavor you want. Try salag dressing... there's millions of flavors!
