Mona is a Venitian dialect term to say the female sex, but it's even a term that they use to appreciate a girl, to intercalate in the speeches or to nicely blame a person.
All the phrases below aren't in Italian but in Venitian dialect.
First example:
"Varda che mona!" "Look at this girl!"
Second ex.:
"Mona allora, quand'è che ti parti!?" "Come on dude, when are you going to go away!?"
Third ex.:
"Ti ghe l'ha manco fatto? Ti set un mona, ciò!!!" "Have you still make it at all? You are a stupid, isn't it!"

PS - It isn't mona lisa but Monna Lisa. Mona and Monna have two different meanings. Monna is a contraction of Madonna that derives from 'Mia donna' "My woman/ My lady". Madonna is also an attribute for the Vergin Maria. When we say 'La Madonna', we mean S.Mary.

In Spain mona is said to a girl that is cute.
