If this guy knows you then I think he has already made an opinion about you. Please don't behave differently then usual all of a sudden. That will throw him away. Instead if you have chances of talking to him. Play a game named "What if.." if possible. Ask him what if we were in a realtionship etc. Dont press him to answer, dont push hjim to answer.
His sudden response will tell you what he feels. Any later responses will be afterthoughts.
